  • Food Vendor Application

  • The Jackson Civil War Society organizes the Jackson Civil War Muster, held on August 27 and 28, 2022 at Cascade Falls in Jackson, Michigan. We are pleased to provide you with the following information:
    1. Self-Contained Food Truck - $250.00
    2. Trailer Requiring Power - $350.00
    3. Trailer Requiring Power and Water - $500.00
    4. Each concession stand must have at least $500,000 in liability insurance coverage and must name the County of Jackson and Cascades Inc. as additional insured on the insurance certificate. A copy of the insurance certificate must be sent with the event fee payment or entry will be automatically denied
    5. Generators will now be allowed
    6. Concession space will be determined and allocated based on the best interest of the event as determined by the Jackson Civil War Society. Event staff will entertain no favorites in their placement of concessions! No Exceptions!
    7. This application is non-transferable. Herein named organization or business must satisfactorily pass Health Department inspection and obtain a Jackson County Health Department license on dates herein named. Application is valid on August 27 & 28, 2022 only
    8. All concessionaires must be in possession of a State of Michigan Tax License
    9. All permits must be visibly displayed
    10. To be considered for the event, please send completed application a cashier’s check or money order made payable to: Jackson Civil War Society a copy of your current insurance policy binder to: 3771 Hitching Post Rd Jackson, Michigan 49201. Personal checks are no longer accepted
    11. Applications for entry as a food concessionaire will be on a first come first accepted basis
    12. Set-up for the weekend begins Friday, August 26, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. and need to be ready to open by 3:00 p.m. Friday afternoon. Concessionaires will not be allowed to set up before then
    13. The Jackson Civil War Society doesn’t promise any concessionaire exclusive rights regarding food or beverage sold during this event

  • Beverages may be coffee, Tea, Lemonade and/or any soft drink products
